Christian Perez

Christian is a former Special Forces Medic, a lifelong student, and an advocate for resilience, discipline, and personal responsibility. Growing up in Boston, he attended Boston Trinity Academy before studying at Boston University. His military career took him across the world, exposing him to both the intensity of combat medicine and the vast diversity of human experience. Thanks to the military, he has traveled the world—experiencing cultures firsthand, pushing his limits, and even swimming in the open ocean off the coast of Guam. He now continues his education at Austin Peay State University, constantly seeking knowledge and self-improvement.

His experiences in the military, medicine, and fatherhood have shaped his unwavering mindset. The birth of his son cemented his belief that strength is not just personal—it’s about setting an example. It’s about being a man worth emulating. His time as a trauma medic placed him in moments of raw human vulnerability, from saving children injured in war to embracing grieving families. Those experiences have deepened his empathy, mental toughness, and commitment to excellence. His mother, the pinnacle of resilience, instilled in him the values of perseverance and dedication that he carries into every aspect of life.

To Christian, strength is a standard. Physical strength is forcing your body to keep pushing well past failure, when everything in you says to stop. Mental strength is the ability to keep moving forward despite loss, heartbreak, financial hardship, or adversity. Discipline is not a choice—it’s the foundation of everything. His daily non-negotiables include training, reading, and uninterrupted time with his son, ensuring that his priorities never take a backseat to distractions.

Outside of training and writing, he mentors young adults, enjoys cooking, watching football and—more recently—golf. He will never say no to a cup of coffee and a casual conversation.

Through Beyond the Assessment, he delivers the unfiltered truth about discipline, integrity, and the pursuit of strength in a world that often rewards mediocrity. His message is clear: life is always assessing you. The only question is—will you rise to the standard?
